Principles of Legal Analysis Course II

Second-year students who qualify for the Directed Study Program will be enrolled in Principles of Legal Analysis (PoLA) in the fall semester. PoLA is a graded, one-unit course that focuses on honing the skills required for effective exam writing. Students will review skills learned in the first year and will be introduced to core analytical skills necessary for success in second-year subjects. They will complete several written exercises and receive extensive feedback designed to help them successfully write law school exams and ultimately pass the bar exam. The course typically ends early in the semester and is taught in small sections.
