Inter-School Competitions
Pacific McGeorge students compete in mock trial tournaments all over the country. Team members perform as trial counsel before experienced judges and lawyers, honing their skills in oral advocacy.
Team members emerge from the Mock Trial Competition Team program as trial lawyers, ready to effectively represent clients in real cases, in real courtrooms. During competitions, our team members often win trophies as they defeat students from other schools and distinguish themselves before bench and bar. For four out of the last six years, our teams have beaten 26 other teams to emerge the Regional Champions of the National Trial Competition hosted by the Texas Young Lawyers Association.
For the 2011 -2012 season, twenty-four members of the Mock Trial Team will compete in seven competitions. These include:
FALL 2011
- National Civil Trial Competition (Los Angeles)
- St. John's Civil Rights Trial Competition (New York)
- Buffalo-Niagara Trial Competition (Buffalo, New York)
- CACJ National Criminal Competition (San Francisco)
SPRING 2012
- National Ethics Trial Competition (Sacramento)
- National Trial Lawyers Competition
- American Association of Justice Trial Competition
- National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers Trial Competition
