Pacific McGeorge's Center for Advocacy & Dispute Resolution has prepared people for the courtroom and other forms of dispute resolution.  In 2010, Pacific McGeorge School of Law's Advocacy Program was ranked No. 5 in the U.S. News and World Report among the leading Trial Advocacy programs in the nation. Click here to read the fall 2011 newsletter from the Advocacy Center.

Educating lawyers to represent clients ethically and skillfully.

Our advocacy program offers a rich array of courses where students learn to apply theory to realistic legal programs in both the trial and appellate setting.

Further, the Center and its faculty have provided training programs for countries around the world, including Chile, Italy, Cambodia, Rwanda, Uganda, and Kosovo. In addition, Pacific McGeorge is the recipient of a $1.6 million USAID grant to assist China in the creation of skills-based legal education programs that focus on the application of law in practice. Our interest in international law has led McGeorge to create an innovative LL.M. program in Experiential Law Teaching.

Our faculty members have written books that are included in curriculum at more than 100 law schools around the country.
