Judicial Involvement in Legislative Processes

Supported by a grant from the State Justice Institute (SJI-99-3-003), the Bureau developed curricular materials for judges and court managers who become involved in legislative processes. The materials are designed to acquaint members of the judicial branch of government with the basic principles, ethical rules and practical considerations that govern interactions with members of the legislative branch of government.

The materials are available in three forms: (a) web-based exercises; (b) a 41-page manual ; and (c) and 40-minute video-tape. Copies of the manual and video-tape may be requested from the Capital Center by email email or regular mail:
