Brian K. Landsberg photoProfessor Landsberg served as Acting Deputy Assistant Attorney General for the Civil Rights Division, Department of Justice in the first year of the Clinton Administration. Before beginning his law teaching career, he spent 22 years with the DOJ, including 12 years as chief of the Civil Rights Division's Appellate Section. Currently, Professor Landsberg oversees implementation of the Pacific McGeorge USAID grant to provide training in advocacy and clinical studies in China.

Recent publications: Professor Landsberg's recently published a book, Free at Last to Vote: Alabama and the Origins of the Voting Rights Act. He is also co-author of two casebooks in the Global Issues series - Global Issues in Constitutional Law and Global Issues in Employment Law.
