Francis "Jay" Mootz was named the ninth dean of Pacific McGeorge on Jan. 5, 2012, by University of the Pacific Provost Maria Pallavicini. Mootz, who is the associate dean for academic affairs and faculty development at the William S. Boyd School of Law at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, will assume his new duties July 1.
