Armed Forces Court of Appeals Hearing

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Armed Services will hear argument from 2-4 p.m., Wednesday, April 6, 2011, in the lecture hall at Pacific McGeorge. This event is free and open to the public. The Article 1 Court oversees the military justice system for all services and is composed of five civilian judges. As part of court's outreach efforts to law American laws schools, two second-year Pacific McGeorge students who have been accepted into Navy JAG will have the opportunity to file an amicus brief and one student will participate in the oral argument. The court is staging a similar event later in the month at Stanford Law School.
