Pacific McGeorge Co-Sponsors Oregon Conference

Pacific McGeorge has joined a consortium of law schools to co-sponsor the 12 th Annual Trina Grillo Public Interest Retreat and Social Justice Retreat on March 6-7, 2010, at the University of Oregon School of Law in Eugene, Oregon.
The conference will feature a keynote address by Rizwana Hasan, the executive director of the Bangladesh Environmental Lawyers Association and winner of the 2009 Goldman Environmental Prize for Asia.
Professor Anne Bloom will be a panelist on the topic of “Lawyering for Economic and Social Justice,” and Professor Rachael Salcido will moderate a panel on the topic of “Climate Change and the Task for a New Generation.” Pacific McGeorge also expects to send a 10-person student contingent to the event.
