Law & Literature students present staged reading of Sophocles' Antigone.

April 27, 2010

On Tuesday, April 27, 2010, students enrolled in the Law and Literature course will present a staged reading of Sophocles' tragedy Antigone. The performance will take place at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Moot Court Room. All members of the campus community are invited to attend this free event. Performing Antigone, a classical Greek play about the clash between law and personal obligation and autonomy, has become a tradition for students taking the course, ever since the course was first offered by Justice Anthony M. Kennedy and Professor Michael P. Malloy during the Salzburg Summer Session in July 2007. Think of it as a live, oral examination for enrolled students!
