Final Four At Court Of Appeal

The Pacific McGeorge Final Four Competition will be held at the California Court of Appeal, Third Appellate District, 621 Capitol Mall, 10th Floor, in downtown Sacramento. Shirley Abrahamson, the chief justice of the Wisconsin Supreme Court, will preside over the 2010 Global Lawyering Skills event at 6 p.m., Thursday, April 1. Second-year students Corrie Erickson and Etan Zaitsu will represent the plaintiff-appellants, and classmates and Brandon Esraelian and Caitlin Urie will argue as the defendant-appellee. Each emerged as a final-round participant and winner of the Diana P. Scott Prize for outstanding moot court achievement after the program's preliminary rounds. Justice Abrahamson will be joined on the bench by Judge Connie Callahan, '75, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, and Vance Raye, the presiding judge of the Third District Court of Appeal.
