15th Annual Sacramento MCLE

The Pacific McGeorge Alumni Association's 15th annual Sacramento MCLE is scheduled on-campus for Saturday, January 30. The program will feature six hours (legal ethics 4, substance abuse 1, and elimination of bias 1) of State Bar-approved credit. The program has also been approved for the same credit by the State Bar of Nevada. Program fees are $40 for alumni and $180 for non-alumni attorneys. The event will begin with an 8-8:50 a.m. check-in and end at 4:15 p.m. The Pacific McGeorge Student Center will be open for lunch. Justice Tani Cantil Sakauye of the California Court of Appeal, Third Appellate District, will emcee an ethics skit put on by members of the Anthony M. Kennedy Inn of Court. Professor Larry Levine will join Marie Nakamura, '01, Thomas Richard, '92, and Laura Maechtlen for a discussion on elimination of bias in the legal profession. Other speakers will include Professor Michael Colatrella, adjunct professor Robert Hawley and Richard Carlton of the State Bar of California. Registration and program information.
