The Story Behind a Famous Case

Harvey Schneider, who argued a Fourth Amendment case that resulted in a famous 1967 Supreme Court ruling, will speak at 5:30 p.m., Tuesday, February 10 in the Gordon D. Schaber Law Library. Schneider, a retired Superior Court judge who was only three years out of law school at the time of his high court appearance, will speak on, “Katz v. UnitedStates: The Untold Story.” Assistant U.S. Attorney Peter Winn, an adjunct professor at the University of Washington law school and expert on privacy law, will introduce Schneider.
