Public Health Emergencies and California Law

Pacific McGeorge’s Institute for Laws on Health & Aging will present an on-campus program, “Public Health Emergencies and California Law,” on Friday, May 1. This multi-disciplinary program is designed to provide attorneys -- as well as public health professionals and providers, county counsel, city attorneys and policy-makers – with the latest information on a critical subject. Former Clinton administration FEMA General Counsel Ernest Abbott, the founder of FEMA Law Associates in Washington, D.C., will be the keynote speaker. Symposium moderators include Davie Zocchetti, ’97, the general counsel of the Governor’s Office of Emergency Services.
