Taking Stock of Sustainable Development

The Center for Global Business & Development's Fall 2007 symposium will examine the current status of sustainable development. The two-day conference, "Taking Stock of Sustainable Development at 20: A Principle at Odds with Itself?," will bring together scholars and practitioners from around the world. The first day's discussions will address the impact of the "brain-drain cycle" and international outsourcing. Second-day panels will focus on international water law issues and the impact of Brundtland Commission Report, which was issued by the United Nations 20 years ago.
