Wong Addresses ASIL Mid-Year Research Forum
November 14, 2011
Professor Jarrod Wong presented a paper, "Transparency and Public Participation in Investor-State Arbitration," on Nov. 5, 2011, at the American Society of International Law's second annual Mid-Year Meeting and Research Forum in Los Angeles.
Wong's presentation was part of a panel on "Participation and Politics in Post-Conflict Justice" at the event, which attracted attorneys, scholars and judges to the UCLA Law School. His paper was selected through a double-blind procedure in a call for papers that received more than five submissions for every presentation slot available.
Wong is a prolific young scholar whose scholarship has centered on issues in international dispute resolution. His articles have been published in the Minnesota Law Review, Tulane Law Review, and George Mason Law Review, among others. Legal scholars from Loyola, UCLA, George Washington, Stanford, Washington & Lee, Georgetown, Notre Dame, USC and prominent foreign law schools were among those presenting at the forum.
