Team Reaches Semis In Chicago

Richard Ilharreguy 2D, Lauren Kromer 3D, Alexandra McConnell 3D and Kristi Seargeant 4E reached the semifinals of the 16 th annual National Criminal Justice Trial Advocacy Competition, held April 6-8 at the John Marshall Law School in Chicago.

The McGeorge team swept all the judges’ votes in preliminary-round victories over Wisconsin, Lewis & Clark and Richmond before getting eliminated in the semis. Temple won the title with a final-round win over Thomas Jefferson. Leland Washington, ’01, coached the McGeorge entry.
