The Class of 2009 has honored Professor Greg Pingree with “Best Professor” awards from both the Day and Evening Divisions.

Class representatives Sandeep Vishwa, ’09, and Drew Meditz, ’09, made the presentation on behalf of the graduating seniors at the McGeorge Annual Alumni Senior Luncheon on April 17 at The Sutter Club.

Pingree, who has taught Torts, Professional Responsibility, and Jurisprudence at the law school since 2002, will be joining the faculty at Florida Coastal School of Law in Jacksonville, Florida, next fall.

“Greg is an excellent teacher and this recognition is well-deserved,” said Phil Wile, Associate Dean for Academic Affairs. Pingree had shared the “Best Professor” award in 2008 with Professor Linda Carter.
