McGeorge Mock Trial Team 2013-2014 Competitions

Professor Cary Bricker, backed by an array of top trial attorney coaches, will send the McGeorge Mock Trial Team to six intercollegiate competitions during the 2013-2014 academic year.
"We have a strong team this year and a great group of dedicated coaches who have instilled them with confidence and enthusiasm," Bricker said. "We are looking forward to the start of the season ton October 17th."
Here's a look at the schedule:
National Criminal Trial Advocacy Competition (CACJ) — Oct. 17-20, 2013
Where: San Francisco, Calif.
Team: Andrea Morris, Tiffany Wynn, Dayla Swartz, James Bradford
Coaches: Alan Donato, '09, Jeff Schaff, '10
National Civil Trial Competition (NCTC) — Nov. 8-10, 2013
Where: Los Angeles, Calif.
Team: Danny Jensen, Amanda Iler, Andrea Morris, Gregory Hayes
Coaches: Keith Hill, '96, Parker White, '80
Buffalo-Niagara Mock Trial Competition — Nov. 8-11, 2013
Where: Buffalo, N.Y.
Team: Jake Weaver, Selena Farnesi, Daphne Copenhaver, Teal Ericson
Coaches: Leland Washington, '01, Jason Schaff, '06
Two scrimmage teams will provide strong inter-squad competition for the NCTC and Buffalo teams and for the other road team if needed. The NCTC scrimmage team is composed of Alex Khan, Anna Padgett, Amanda Massimini and Neil Clark, coached by Jesse Saucedo, '11, and Scott Schweibish, '09. The Buffalo scrimmage team members are Kendal Mickelwaite, Preston Schaub, Neil Cacali and Coleman Segal, coached by Maria Wilson, '08 and Shani Roark, '12. The season started early this year with the first annual McGeorge, Southern Illinois University (SIU) and Golden Gate (GGU) Challenge, which was held on the McGeorge School of Law, University of the Pacific campus in Sacramento, Calif. on Sept. 28, 2013.
Three competitions are scheduled for spring semester and the team line-ups will be announced in January 2014.
