Professor Amy Landers has received a contract from LexisNexis to write UnderstandingPatent Law, another in that publisher’s series of soft-bound books that provide approximately 400-600 pages of supplementary material for law students and professors.

In addition, Professor Frank Gevurtz has a contract for Understanding Mergers and Acquisitions and Professor Steve’ McCaffrey’s Understanding International Law is due out on June 6. Pacific McGeorge faculty members have a longtime association with the series. Professor John Sprankling wrote Understanding Property Law and Professor Larry Levine is a co-author of Understanding Torts and Professor Linda Carter a co-author of Understanding Capital Punishment Law. Former professor Joshua Dressler, now a member of the faculty at the Moritz College of Law at The Ohio State University, authored Understanding Criminal Law and Understanding Criminal Procedure when he was a member of the Pacific McGeorge faculty in the 1990’s.
