International Jurist Headlines Event on Italy's Influence On Law

Italian Jurist Fausto Pocar headlines the Global Center for Business & Development's special forum, "The Blending of Civil and Common Law Traditions: The Pioneering Role of the Italian Justice System and the Development of International Criminal Courts." The half day forum, organized by Pacific McGeorge faculty member Linda Carter, will occur in rooms S4-S5 from 2 to 6:30 p.m., Monday, April 12th and is part of the inaugural series honoring Pacific's 24thPresident, Pamela A. Eibeck.
Judge Pocar has served in the Appeals Chamber of the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) and for Rwanda (ICTR), and served for three years as President of the ICTY.
