Professor Fred Galves, a national leader in the use of technology in the classroom, received two faculty awards from the University of the Pacific in May.

He was one of eight recipients of a 2006 Faculty Innovation Award for his creating on-line learning modules for his Computer-Assisted Litigation class, a popular elective that he developed and has taught here and at Southwestern University School of Law and University of Denver College of Law. He also received an Eberhardt Faculty Scholar Award for articles and presentations on technology and for developing the new Street Law International class that will enable Pacific McGeorge law students to interact with and inspire local high school students interested in the law.
