Steven Redd, April Matsinger, Sydne Christianson, and Vanessa Hunter advanced to the semifinals of the American Association of Justice regional competition that was held March 4-6, 2011, in Seattle.

The foursome, coached by Keith Hill, '96, and Thien Ho, '98, defeated the University of Washington, Stanford and UC Berkeley before dropping a close decision to another Berkeley entry. The winning team advanced to a 14-team national championship scheduled for Las Vegas in April.

Tony Danielson, Caitlin Smith, Clayton McCarl, and Shani Roark comprised another Pacific McGeorge team that competed in the regional event. They were coached by Tim Balcom, '97.

The Association of American Justice, formerly known as the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, is a 65-year-old organization that advocates on behalf of the plaintiff bar.
