Summary

Professor Marjorie Florestal is a dynamic scholar writing at the intersection of law and culture. Her broad ranging scholarship explores critical approaches to Contract law and confronts the challenges raised in Trade and Development law.  Professor Florestal’s teaching, scholarship and consulting activities draw on her experience as a lawyer with the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative where she represented the U.S. before the World Trade Organization, and her work with such diverse organizations as the State Department, the Department of Commerce, the U.S. Agency for International Development and the African Development Bank.
