Fall Thanksgiving, Exam Period & Winter Break Library Hours

Thanksgiving Hours (Tuesday, Nov. 21-Saturday, Nov. 25)

Tuesday, Nov 21: 7:30 a.m. - 10:00 p.m.
Wednesday, Nov 22: 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Thursday, Nov 23, (Thanksgiving): CLOSED
Friday, Nov 24: 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Saturday, Nov 25:  8:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m.

Exam Period (Sunday, Nov. 26- Friday, Dec. 15)

The Library will be open 24/7 beginning Sunday, Nov. 26 at 7:30 a.m. - Friday, Dec. 15 at 10:00 p.m.
NOTE: From 12 midnight to 7:30 am, no exception can be made to Pacific ID card requirement for admittance.  From 12 midnight to 7:30 am, there will be no Library services available (e.g. no check ins, check outs, technology or reference assistance).

Winter Break (Saturday, Dec. 16-Sunday, Jan. 7)

Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 16 & 17: 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Monday-Thursday, Dec. 18-21: 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Friday, Dec. 22: 8:00 a.m. - 12 noon  
Library closed December 23-January 1.  

Tuesday-Friday, Jan. 2-5: 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday, Jan. 6 & 7: 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Note: Library hours change for events, during holiday periods, final exam time and semester end. Adjusted hours will be posted. Classroom H is available during the hours the library is closed to authorized users via the card swipe.

Our Mission

The Sacramento campus and law library serves both the University community and the McGeorge School of Law. The campus library cooperates with the University Libraries system in supporting the education and research needs of University of the Pacific students and faculty by providing study and research space and partnering with Stockton-based reference librarians. The law library provides informational resources and instruction which supports the many academic programs of the McGeorge School of Law, meets the education needs of its law students, and facilitates the teaching, research, scholarship, and service undertaken by the law faculty. The library also provides practice-related materials for the use of our alumni and local attorneys.
