Biography

Laurel Sunderman has worked at Pacific McGeorge School of Law since 2010. In her role as Alumni Relations and Development Specialist, she conducts development research and assists with grant proposals. She coordinates the fundraising efforts for events such as the Jeffrey K. Poilé LGBT Civil Rights Scholarship and the PLSS Live and Silent Auction. She also coordinates the Student Leadership, Volunteerism and Philanthropy program, encouraging students and young alumni to become engaged on campus and in the community.

Laurel worked in the Centers of Distinction prior to joining the Advancement team. Before coming to McGeorge, she worked in the English and Gerontology Departments at California State University, Sacramento. Laurel earned an M.A. in English in 2007 and also teaches written communication at the college level.
