Professor Joe Taylor teaches McGeorge’s most popular elective, Trial Advocacy. A former Sacramento County and Ventura County resident who served as the Public Defender for Riverside County, he brings a treasure of trial experience to the course that allows law students to stand up and conduct a courtroom trial. Professor Taylor is the author or co-author of ten trial practice cases, nine published by the National Institute for Trial Advocacy (NITA), including one based on the controversial suicide ruling in the death of rock star Kurt Cobain.
