LL.M. in Transnational Business Practice

Pacific McGeorge offers a unique program, leading to a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree in Transnational Business Practice. The LL.M. in Transnational Business Practice has two different tracks from which degree candidates can choose, both leading to the same degree.

More than one-half of the faculty has produced international or comparative law scholarship or has taught abroad.

Who pursues this degree?

The Pacific McGeorge Global Center for Business & Development stands at the interface between the global economy and the legal profession. Facilitating scholarship, curricular innovation and real-world projects to help current practitioners and policy makers, as well as future attorneys address the issues raised by the global economy. The LL.M. in Transnational Business Practice trains lawyers, whether they are trained in civil law or common law jurisdiction, to practice in the field of international business law. An LL.M. in Transnational Business practice prepares lawyers for a career in the global economy.

Foreign Student Assistance

Global Center students from countries other than the United States join a community of law students studying on the Pacific McGeorge campus, and receive special assistance with course selection, class success, and adjusting to student life in the United States.
