LL.M. Application Checklist
Application Requirements
- Online application (application fee waived)
- Signature page
- Curriculum vitae
- Official law school transcript(s)*
- Evidence of law degree (or its anticipated receipt before start of the program)*
- Two letters of recommendation
- Personal statement
- For non-native English speakers, proof of English proficiency (TOEFL or IELTS, degree from an English language institution, or multi-year employment in a position in which English is the primary language of communication)
* For documentation in languages other than English, certified translations must be provided.
After Acceptance
- Pay deposit within a month of receiving the acceptance letter.
- Complete Application for I-20 Certification of Eligibility (if a visa is required).
- Make an appointment with the American Consulate (if a visa is required).
- Send on-campus housing request as soon as possible, if on-campus housing is desired.
- Once travel to Sacramento is confirmed, send your travel information to the Graduate & International Programs Office.
- Keep admissions advised of any address changes.
- When entering the U.S., you must have the following documents with you:
- Valid current passport with F-1 visa inside;
- Form I-20 provided by the Graduate & International Programs Office upon receipt of the deposit; and
- Letter of acceptance from Pacific McGeorge
