Comprehensive. Collegial. Leading-edge. Our J.D. Program provides a solid grounding in the essentials of lawyering with opportunities to customize your studies through our Concentrations and Certificate Programs. Successful completion of the J.D. degree allows a graduate to sit for a state's bar exam, leading to a license to practice law. No specific undergraduate major or subject area concentration is required.
Beyond the Classroom
Taught by practiced faculty, our curriculum further brings the law to life through experiential learning opportunities, international studies and specializations. Learn while doing through hands-on practice in law reviews, legal clinics, internships, competition teams, skills classes, work study and more.
The Right Fit
Unlike many law schools across the nation, we offer uncommon flexibility, academic support and scheduling options to help you realize your goals — year-round, part-time, day and evening, extended term and more to fit your lifestyle. Our part-time evening program, one of only 75 such programs offered in the nation, was ranked #26 by the 2013 U.S. News & World Report guide to Best Law Schools.
