How to Apply for Financial Aid

To receive financial aid, you must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). By completing the FAFSA you are applying for federal student aid such as Federal Direct student loans, work-study and some scholarships.

Each year, to receive federal financial aid, completion of either a pre-filled FAFSA or a new FAFSA (if there is no previous FAFSA), is required. The Department of Education prefers on-line FAFSA's. If no computer access is available, call FAFSA at 1.800.4FEDAID. It is essential that applicants provide complete and accurate information to avoid processing delays. All information is kept strictly confidential.

  • Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Your FAFSA can be completed online. If this is your first time filling out this form, you will need a Personal Identification Number (PIN). Electronically signing the FAFSA with your PIN reduces the total processing time.
Our federal school code is G03952.
  • Submit requested documents. Additional documentation may be required to determine your financial aid eligibility. You will be notified by mail if we require additional documentation. Once we have confirmed your acceptance to the law school, received your FAFSA and all requested documents, your financial aid eligibility will be determined and you will receive a financial aid award letter.
