Events and Conferences

Whether hosting or attending, Pacific McGeorge faculty facilitate and attend a growing number of law conferences and symposia annually. Signature campus events draw expert legal minds from around the world, and faculty frequently participate at some of the professions' most preeminent conferences and symposia.

Pacific McGeorge's signature annual symposium, Ethics Across the Professions, led by Professor Paul Paton, hosts academics, professionals and policymakers to examine critical issues from a variety of perspectives. The Pacific McGeorge three Centers of Distinction annually host a multitude of conferences addressing the issues of our times, from the world financial crisis, to high seas piracy, water law and expanding experiential learning abroad. Recently, Pacific McGeorge faculty increased their outreach to legal professionals through a continuing series of Executive Training Seminars hosted on campus.
