Summary Bio
Dustin is a 2004 graduate of Pacific/McGeorge. He practices primarily criminal defense as a solo practitioner. Prior to opening his own law practice, he served as a Deputy Public Defender for the Yolo County Public Defender’s Office and as a Criminal Defense Attorney for Perry & Associates in Modesto. In addition to his legal practice, Dustin recent began teaching at the Florin High School LAW Academy. Dustin believes strongly in giving back to the community through community service. In addition to his service as a member of the board of directors of the Pacific/McGeorge School of Law Alumni Association, Dustin was a Volunteer Recruiter for McGeorge for the fall of 2004. He has also mentored high school students in preparation for college and professional pursuits. Along with other legal professionals, he has conducted several ‘Know Your Rights’ workshops and organized a radio town hall between the community and law enforcement officials. He is currently a member of the Los Rios Community College District Board of Trustees. In addition to his professional and community service activities, Mr. Johnson enjoys spending time with his wife and two young sons.
