Celebrating 90 Years of Excellence
Fall 2013 marked the beginning of Pacific McGeorge School of Law's 90th academic year. Our law school was chartered in November of 1924 and has grown into an internationally recognized leader in the field of legal education. Our location in the capital city of California, Sacramento, has shaped the school's focus on public law, international law, and advocacy.
Pacific McGeorge has also sought to foster a sense of commitment to serving others. We emphasize a commitment between our students and alumni, to our different communities, to our profession, and to the greater society. Our history of and commitment to community service is reflected in our work with the Oak Park neighborhood and our city of Sacramento. As a law school, our students and alumni also support access to justice throughout California and the world through extensive pro bono service.
During our 90th year, we have engaged with our communities to bring our history to life with alumni events and by curating a forum for people to share their memories of McGeorge.
