Gregory S. Weber
Gregory S. Weber is a Professor of Law at Pacific McGeorge School of Law, where he teaches classes in, among other subjects, Negotiation and Alternative Dispute Resolution.
In his personal practice, and as a Senior Associate with the Center for Collaborative Policy (CCP) (Sacramento, CA), Professor Weber has over a decade of experience facilitating large and small groups in a wide variety of dispute resolution processes, disputes and venues.
His projects have included the training of Chilean prosecutors and defense attorneys in interest based negotiation; the planning and facilitation of day-long sessions in Germany and Brazil on dispute resolution in international sustainable forestry; the planning and facilitation of a day-long session on Ethics for judges of international courts and tribunals; the planning and facilitation of annual strategic planning meetings for the Judicial Council of California; and the planning and facilitation of strategic planning sessions for non-profit organizations involved with sustainable water resources.
His most recent private mediation clients are a coalition of national, state, and local environmental and community groups who successfully accomplished their goals in a controversy involving the citing of a proposed spring water bottling plant in Northern California. Michael T. Colatrella Jr.
Michael T. Colatrella Jr. is Assistant Professor of Law at Pacific McGeorge School of Law, where he teaches Mediation, Negotiation, Alternative Dispute Resolution and Trial Advocacy.
Professor Colatrella has a decade of experience educating lawyers and business people around the country in Negotiation, Conflict Management, and Human Relations matters. He has consulted for public and private organizations such as Ericsson, Lockheed Martin, Blue Cross & Blue Shield, EDS, Alliance Data, Tenet Health Systems, Frito Lay, FEMA, and Capgemni.
Since 1991, he has mediated disputes involving employment contracts, commercial contracts, consumer fraud suits, personal injury, and commercial and residential leases. Before pursuing a full time academic career, Professor Colatrella was a litigator at Reed Smith Shaw & McClay, which is listed among The American Lawyer's top 20 law firms in the world. He is co-author of the interdisciplinary text Mediation-Skills & Techniques (Lexis/Nexis 2008) that is widely used in law schools, graduate schools, and schools of diplomacy. Maureen Watkins
Maureen Watkins is an instructor in the Global Lawyering Skills program at Pacific McGeorge School of Law.
Watkins was previously a legal skills instructor at the National University of Singapore, and an associate mediator with the Singapore Mediation Centre. She currently teaches mediation to first and second-year law students at Pacific McGeorge School of Law, and she serves as a consultant for the U.S. Agency of International Development to assist Chinese legal educators in devising curricular materials for teaching alternative dispute resolution as an experiential course in China.
