Brent is a 2003 graduate of Sacramento State University, where he graduated with a Masters in Career Counseling. Previous to that, he completed his undergraduate studies at U.C. Davis in Human Development. Brent has six years of counseling experience, including advising international policy graduate students at the Monterey Institute of International Studies about careers with nonprofits, NGOs, and IGOs. He also served as the Assistant Director for the Merage School of Business at U.C. Irvine's MBA Career Center. Additionally, Brent worked as a Career Advisor at Sonoma State University.
