Andrea Sogand Moon serves as an attorney with the California Department of Corrections & Rehabilitation's Non-Medical Class Action Team at the Office of Legal Affairs in Sacramento, where she assists in managing class action suits against the department. Andrea previously worked as an attorney for the California Prison Industry Authority in Folsom, where she practiced civil service employment law, administrative law and government law. While at McGeorge, Andrea was elected to the SBA for four years and acted as President of the Animal Law Society and Phi Delta Phi Honors Fraternity. Andrea is an alum of the Federal Defender Clinic, Moot Court competition team and the Anthony M. Kennedy American Inn of Court.
Andrea holds a B.A. in English from the University of California, Berkeley and was a member of the Gamma Phi Beta sorority, Eta Chapter. Andrea received her J.D. from McGeorge with distinction and was the recipient of the Outstanding Student Achievement Award and the National Association of Women Lawyers Outstanding Law Student Award.
Andrea's husband is an electrical engineer working in the defense industry and a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. Andrea and her husband have one daughter.
