J.D. Application
Procedures & Requirements
To be considered for the J.D. program at Pacific McGeorge you must hold a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. You do not need to have studied a pre-law curriculum. All applicants start in the fall semester and must furnish the following to the Admissions Office:
1. Application Form
You must complete and submit an application form. Please see below for the link to the online application.
2. Application Fee
A nonrefundable application fee of $50, must be submitted with your application if you do not have a fee waiver. Use the below link to waive your application fee.
3. Personal Statement
Your personal statement may address experiences and talents of special interest; educational background, college grades, and course selections; ethnic, cultural, and linguistic heritage; employment experience; or other information you feel should be considered. Please limit your personal statement to three pages, double-spaced.
4. JDCAS/LSAT Report
As an applicant to Pacific McGeorge, you must register with the JD Credential Assembly Service (JDCAS) and take the Law School Admission Test (LSAT). You can obtain information online at

5. Letters of Recommendation and Evaluations
Pacific McGeorge requires two letters of recommendation be submitted as part of your JDCAS account. Also, you may submit either a third letter of recommendation or an evaluation. Letters written by people who have had a chance to assess your experiential or academic promise are most helpful.

International Students or Degree (if applicable)
An applicant who does not have a bachelor's degree from an English-language college or university, and for whom English was not the first language, must furnish results from the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) with a minimum score of 600 for paper-based and 250 for computer-based exams.

Applicants whose undergraduate education was outside the United States, and cannot be evaluated by LSDAS, must use the JD Credential Assembly Service for Foreign Transcripts provided by LSAC.
Non-U.S. citizens or permanent residents are responsible for obtaining appropriate visas for study in the United States. Requests for documentation required from the School of Law should be addressed to the Pacific McGeorge Admissions Office.
