Professor Rachael Salcido is a scholar of environmental and natural resources law, with particular expertise in ocean and coastal law and ecosystem restoration. Her articles have appeared in prominent law journals and she is an active member of the Rocky Mountain Mineral Law Foundation.
Stephen C. McCaffrey

Stephen C. McCaffrey is a Distinguished Professor and Scholar. One of the world’s foremost authorities on international water law, he served as special rapporteur for the commission’s draft articles on the law of the non-navigational uses of international watercourses, which formed the basis of the 1997 U.N. Convention on the subject. Professor McCaffrey was Counselor on International Law in the State Department in 1984-85 and represents countries in disputes before the International Court of Justice and other fora. He also advises the Palestinians in connection with the Permanent Status talks with Israel and is Legal Adviser to the Nile River Basin Negotiation Committee. Professor McCaffrey directs the LL.M. in Water Resources Law-International and the J.S.D. in International Water Resources Law.
John G. Sprankling
Distinguished Professor and Scholar
Professor Sprankling is a nationally-recognized authority on property law. His treatise Understanding Property Law is used by law students across the country. His newest book, written with Professor Coletta and M.C. Mirow, is Global Issues in Property Law – the first classroom text in the nation that brings international and comparative law issues into the basic property course. His articles on property and land use issues have appeared in a number of leading law journals, including the UCLA Law Review, University of Chicago Law Review, and the Cornell Law Review. Professor Sprankling began his legal career with Miller, Starr & Regalia, one of the nation's largest property law firms. He practiced there for 14 years, ultimately serving as its managing partner. After teaching at UC Hastings College of the Law and Stanford Law School, he joined the Pacific McGeorge faculty in 1992. At Pacific McGeorge, he has served as Interim Dean and as Associate Dean for Academic Affairs. He has also served as the chair of the Property Law Association of American Law Schools.
Gregory S. Weber
Professor of Law
Director, Water Resources Law
Professor Gregory Weber is an expert on water law, California civil discovery law, and collaborative policy making processes. His scholarly works include co-authorship of one of the leading water law casebooks and the only treatise devoted entirely to California civil discovery law. In addition to his teaching and scholarship, he helps mediate water law disputes and facilitate collaborative policy processes. Along with his colleague, Professor Michael Colatrella, he developed a series of Pacific McGeorge-sponsored executive training seminars in negotiation and mediation. Professor Weber directs the LL.M. in Water Resources Law."
Justice Ronald B. Robie
Adjunct Professor of Law
Justice Robie serves on the California Court of Appeal, Third District. He received his B.A. and M.A. at the University of California, Berkeley, and his J.D. at the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law.
