Legislative Process

Students will perform on-site legal work as externs under the supervision of the field placement supervisor in offices which are involved in legislative process, including working with State senators and representatives, legislative committees, lobbyist's offies or the legislative office of government agencies. Satisfactory completion of Course 822: Legislative Process, Strategy & Ethings, is a prerequisite for this course, which is offered only in the spring semester, unless waived by the Director of Field Placements. The Field Placement Director will help students find an appropriate placement, and must approve each student's registration. (P/F)
