Small Section Experiences

Certain first-year class sections are split in half for one semester to give all students more personal attention from the professor. If this happens in the fall, it contributes to getting a good start. If it happens in the spring, it provides help in diagnosing any shortcomings that showed up on students’ first-term exams.

Additionally, the legal writing program for first- and second-year students, Global Lawyering Skills, meets in smaller groups to assure that all students receive constructive, personalized critiques of their writing. The first-year Principles of Agency course is also divided into small sections to ensure that students receive individual attention.
